I guess if friendship became something like a luxury article in these days. In a very special way I found a couple in Georgia through a video, they have loaded on Google. I wrote them a letter , I tried to get contact by Skype and by commenting their blogs. But I didn´t get an answer, except a short conversation after sending the first mail. I tried to tell them that they must be very sympathic and that I would like to make friends with them. But no reaction. Maybe in Skype I am blocked now, because there´s no answer to my postings. Maybe they are afraid or uncertain in some ways. So my last hope for friendship faded.
That makes me feel very sad, because I don´t know what somebody needs to have, before he can make friends. Do I need a special graduation or an official obligation that I am no terrorist or schizophrenic? Especially when one side tries to do everything for relationship and the other ignores. Is there such a great distrust in this world, so that friendship can´t grow? We´ve got the internet, we have chatrooms and communication-systems like Skype or Messenger. This makes the world becoming smaller, you´re able to learn about foreign people within a short time and you can contact them within a second. But is this the reason whay we´re drifting apart? An entirely contrary development I can´t cope with. I am an honest man with no bad intentions, but I like to be in relationship with people I am pleased about. So, where is the key to the heart of mankind? I know I can´t force anybody to make friend with me, but I assume I have deserved a chance. A famous Austrian popsinger had one song and the text out of it meant: you always get the friends you deserve. So, what do I derserve, what can I do to change minds? Or do we live in a world that is not able to bear this responsibility of being a friend anymore?
